DUO MILLIOUD-FREIBURGHAUS
Le violoniste Vincent Millioud et la pianiste Mary Freiburghaus ont débuté leur collaboration musicale dans différents projets lors de leurs études à la section Jazz de la Haute Ecole des Arts de Berne. Depuis 2012, ils jouent en duo en interprétant leurs compositions personnelles ainsi que des morceaux classiques et jazz contemporains. Les deux musiciens sont passionnés par les voyages subtils entre les mondes des musiques écrites et improvisées, avec une attirance particulière pour la tradition musicale du Moyen-Orient. Le duo Millioud-Freiburghaus s’est présenté au Musée d’Art de Sion, à la Fondation Gianadda et dans différents concerts à Jérusalem et Ramallah lors d’une tournée en Palestine.

The violin player Vincent Millioud and the piano player Mary Freiburghaus start their musical collaboration during their studies at the jazz department of the University of the Arts of Bern. Since 2012 they perform in duo interpreting own compositions, classical music pieces and contemporary jazz. The two musicians travel between written and improvised music with a particular attraction for the music of the Middle East. The Millioud-Freiburghaus duo performed at the Musée d’Art de Sion, at the Fondation Gianadda and gave several concerts in Jerusalem and in Ramallah during residencies in Palestine.
